Are ebooks?

I’m quite new with the whole ebook frenzy. I have read the ebook for Twilight. Anyway, before i deliberately shift to firing up my enthusiasm for my adoration for Twilight (Edward Cullen, most especially, of course), and turn this question to a discussion… I’m just curious. Are ebooks edited or shortened somehow???

Please, I would love to know.

    If if doesn’t specifically say it’s abridged, it’s not.

    In general, eBooks are the complete text but just in electronic format.
