Christian I just bought the book entitled”The Politically Incorrect Guide to Darwinism and Intelligent Design”
Posted by admin | Filed under Religion & Spirituality
Any other good Christians buy it yet? I have only read a little so far but judging from what I have seen so far, I am very happy with my decision to buy this book. I think it is necessary reading for every Christian. I also have ‘Case for the Creator’ by Lee Strobel .
For a light introduction that is very enjoyable I recommend
‘Defeating Darwinism by Opening Minds’ by Phillip E. Johnson

I smell propoganda. Read books from BOTH sides of the argument. Then make your choice.

Nice way to read only half of the story.
Try reading scientific articles FOR evolution to make your judgements AGAINST it.
There’s a reason your book has the word ‘incorrect’ in the title.

Have you read “CREATIONS TINY MYSTERY” by Robert Gentry? He is a geophysicist, and I found his book very readable, and persuasive. I’m told he has a new work out, but haven’t seen it. His first bok has been out about 25 years.

How can you defeat Darwinism when it is supported by scientific fact? Oh wait, almost forgot. You religious people turn your back on facts and go straight to fantasy. If that’s true, then why don’t you base your religious beliefs on other fantasy books like Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter? They are both far superior to the bible, imo.

You should have saved your money- Darwin hasn’t been seriously challenged in 150 years and he never will be.

Sounds like a nice little propaganda collection you’re putting together there. It’s hard to imagine though why you’re bothering, if you’ve already made your mind up.
Oh, and “The Politically Incorrect Guide to…” is code words for “The Politically Correct Guide to…”. Ironic, isn’t it?
Can’t offend those creationists, can we?

So, now you think you know exactly how God did it?
Cool!
So, now, you can go out and build your own universe, and create your own life forms, right?
NOOO???????
Could it be…maybe….just perhaps…that God just ain’t tellin’ you how He did it, cuz maybe…just possibly…it ain’t none of your business??
Oh, btw, I ought to mention, I am a Christian…and I wouldn’t bother buying propaganda books from EITHER side. Propaganda is a crock!

While you’re at it, try “The Selfish Gene” by Richard Dawkins and “The Blind Watchmaker” also by Richard Dawkins. They go a lot further in explaining Darwinian natural selection, evolutionary biology and genetics than any of those books do.

If you only read the propaganda of creationists, then your delusional beliefs will remain delusions. Why are you afraid to read and understand what science has to say? I suggestion you start at the link below. It will lead you to the scientific responses to the claims of propaganda.

Look.
If you only read books like those … books by Creationists … then don’t for a second believe you are getting an “Open Minded” discussion.
I have read Stroebel and Johnson (I have Johnson’s book sitting right next to me), and “Shattering the Myths of Darwinism” by Richard Milton (although I have not read “The Politically Incorrect Guide”), and others.
On the evolution side, I have also read Gould, Dawkins, Dobzhansky, Miller, Zimmer, Elderidge, and some guy named Darwin.
If you really want to understand evolution, don’t just rely on people who’s stated goal is to destroy it. They have a vested interest in explaining it BADLY.
Would you trust only athiest authors to explain religion to you?
