Do you have to have Spore Creature Creator to edit and make vehicles?

Okay, I have a few questions before I go out and buy this $50 game. First of all, the bolded question. Second of all, can you put the creatures you make on the Creator into the game, or is it just for show? Lastly, do you design your space ships?

1) no.
2) yes, they are part of your world, you make creatures from scratch to play through the game with them…the ones made in the creator are only in the game as NPC’s

3]yes yes and double yes. u do that in space phase [the last one]
