Does reading e-books damage your eyes or am i safer reading straight out of a book?


i know staring at a computer screen all day can cause eye damage, does reading from an e-book promote that damage?

    it depends on the screen. screens that are bright tend to cause eye strain like a typical monitor. the amazon kindle claims that its screen is easier on the eyes and is supposed to mimic reading an actual book.
    and people have claimed that it’s not harsh on the eyes at all.

    Even though the makers of e-books can tell you that they’re product looks like a real book, it’s never going to be a real book. You still strain your eyes and in the long run, reading a real book is just better. Just make sure that you have efficient lighting when you read, otherwise your eyes will strain as well.
