Edit ebook which is in uneditable format?

I got an ebook, which cannot be edited. I want to copy some paragraphs and past it in my word document. But it cannot be. This format doesnt have any option to do that. but we can find words by using “find” option, which comes when you right click only. and this format has “text to speech” option. what is this format & how can I edit it.
pls help me for this.

    Many different formats are used for ebooks. Without knowing the file extension, I can’t even begin to advise you. You could, however, compare the file extension against the info at. If you’re lucky, you might have a format for which you either have an editor already or can get one for free.
