How Do I Buy Sole Ownership of an eBook?

I’m looking to edit and publish some ebooks, but I want to be the sole owner of this content…I don’t want ten other people selling the same book. Is there a name for these rights? I’m very confused by private resale rights, master resale rights, etc.

Also, any recommendations on where to find ebooks with these rights available would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Big Larry,
    I think what you are looking for is called unrestricted PLR, which means you can do anything you want to the material, or in many cases regular PLR ebooks can be edited totally, your name can be added as the author and you can even change the ebook graphic. But you can not have the copyright to it, unless you edit it totally and make it into something entirely different.

    Your other option is to find products that are not selling well due to poor promotion or whatever, and contact the author directly and make an offer to buy the copyright from them.

    I run a resale rights products site and see and have many PLR products and ebooks and that is what is included with the PLR rights.
