Hyperlinks in PDF from MS Word?


I want to make an e-book in Microsoft Word. The first page would be “Table of Contents”. I’ll make hyperlinks there that will direct to some other page in the same document. After I did that, I now want to make it a PDF file. I tried with PDF Creator. But it just shows the hyperlinks in blue (as the hyperlinks usually look) but does not direct to other page in that PDF document.

How do I make it do that? Can anybody give me a solution? Or, what other alternatives are there for doing this kind of action?

    It is unfortunate, but MS Word and .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) do not always “play well together.”

    What you want to do may require the at least the Standard Version of Adobe Acrobat to accomplish what you want to do.
