Muslims have a seperate covenant through the first son of Abraham ?

Moses replied : “And the Lord said onto me, they have well spoken that which they have spoken, I will raise them up a Prophet from among their Brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.” (Deuteronomy 18:17-18)

According to the Hebrew Dictionary of the Bible, “Brethren” is the : “Personification of a group of tribes who
were regarded as near kinsmen of the Israelites.”

The Bible refers to the Israelites as the Brethren of the Ismaelites (e.g. Gen. 16:12 & Gen. 25:18).

Abraham was chosen to be a Great Prophet of the Creator of the Universe.

Abraham had two sons who were both to be blessed with a Holy Covenant at separate times.

The Holy Covenant are promises from The Lord of Abraham in return for taking on the responsibility to “Make Allah/God known to the World” and establishing the “laws of God” on the Earth.

Ishmael – first son – ISLAM
Issac – second son – JUDAISM & Christianity

JUDAISM is the covenant through Isaac.
ISLAM is the covenant through Ishmael.

1—–After Abraham had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, Abram’s wife Sarai took Hagar the Egyptian, her maid, and gave her to her husband Abram as HIS WIFE. — GENESIS 16:3

2——So Hagar bore Abram a son; and Abram called the name of HIS SON, whom Hagar bore, ISHMAEL. – GENESIS 16:15

In The Interpreters Bible, we read the following commentary on Deutronomy 21:15-17 :
“However, the law of the first born had ancient sanction, and so long as it was accepted justice demanded that mere favoritism not be allowed to deprive the eldest son of his rights.” (Vol 2 p. 461 Emphasis added)

The fallacy of Ishmael’s inferior status owing to his mother’s “inferior” social status is not only contrary to the Judaic Law (e.g. Deut. 21:15-17) , it is contrary to moral , humanitarian and universal nature of God’s revelation cherished by any believer in Him.

….

Islam calls Jesus “Al-Masih” – he was the Messiah for the Jews.

Messiah means “Anointed Prophet” sent as a redeemer of sin and uniter of the tribes.

If the Jews were to accept their final Prophet (and final chance)then they would be forgiven for slaying all the Prophets and re-writing the holy books.

If they rejected Jesus then a “lanat” would be put on them forever.

Those who denied Jesus as the Jewish Messiah will be sent a False Messiah near the last days as a punishment after the Lord gathers them all into one small area.

Muslims, unlike the Jews, are not dependant on a Jewish redeemer for success.

The coveneant through Islam is independant of the history of Jewish rebellion and disobediance.

We are cousins, deep family ties. The Jewish people were always well treated in Islamic countries, much more so than in Europe. The second world war and the Mufti of Jerusalem changed all that unfortunately. The worst arguments are always between family.

Jesus is not just for the Jews, He is for everyone. Islam came way after even Judaism was established, you speak as if they both were at the same time, but in fact where not.

Islam puts Jesus as a mere prophet only, and does not accept the stance that God himself put Jesus in.

I think the covenant is through Ismail and not Isaac.

I think the Old Testament has been altered.

The OT tells us that a man must give his first born son 2x as much as his first born son – no matter who the mother is. This, in my mind, is proof that Ismail is the one God made a covenant through. Because, Abraham left Isaac his wealth. Instead, Ismail got the Covenant.

Most people seem to forget that Jesus Christ is the product of this. And, that Ismailites, became Arabs. Arabs, along with Ethiopians and Africans – the Copts – were the first followers of Christ – while the Jews (descendants of Isaac) denied Christ.
