can I edit out pics of a pdf to make it smaller?

I have an ebook which has too many pictures, I want to email it too myself but its 56MB and only 115pgs how do I go through and edit out the whole page pics?
wow thanx….idiot….actually its not as easy as just right clicking the image…and the only delete I can find deletes whole pages…and its layed out so each page is two pages

I mean judging from the price and stuff to actually send a c.d. and pay off all the fees you make like a 10 cent profit
it really **** because we can’t email the ebooks no more!
