Why would Satan try to win a war he already knows will fail? Is he so stupid that he would try to beat His on Creator? What do ya think about that?

Because you need a villain in order to make the story interesting.

(Also to take the heat off the whole “suffering in the world” from a “perfect creator” conundrum)

Christianity is Bi-theistic. There are two deities.

  2. THE MIGHTY RA Says:

Because according to the bible, his “creator” murders children

This is why these things are not to be taken literally. However, the theme of beating your creator and replacing him is fundamental to the developmental psychology of human males. Our fathers are our creator. We don’t want to get stuck in a Oedipal stage, but we call go through it.

In most mythologies, there multiple examples of this. In Greek myth, Kronos cuts off Uranos’ male member (which drops into the and ocean and foams up, becoming Aphrodite, sea foam). Later Zeus will depose and oust Kronos from ruling the Universe.

Doesn’t everyone rebel against their parents?
